This is a newly created group in which any particular science topics could be discussed. Subjects could be as varied as advances in medical science, astronomy science, particle physics, heat pumps and any other suggestions from members of the group. Short illustrated talks followed by discussions is the planned format.
The next meeting will be on Thursday 17 April 2025, 10:00am to 12:00 noon in the upper meeting room of Southwell Library The topic is 'Risk and Hazard Assessment' by member Mike Freemantle.

It is planned to run the meetings monthly, most likely in the Southwell Library. A regular day and time slot has yet to be finally decided and will depend upon general availability of both members and a room!
