The Spanish group has been running just over a year and few members had known Spanish before joining. We have been reading a simple graded text. Only essential grammar is explained. Most members enjoy writing sentences at home utilising the points they are learning.
When the leader has been unable to attend, the class has met without him to read alternative easy texts and to repeat similar exercises.
We have been meeting at the Full Moon pub in in Morton from 10.30am - 12.30pm on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. We each buy a coffee or other drink at the bar at the start of the class.
As this class matures and improves it may help newcomers who are absolute beginners to contact the leader in order to discuss options for them to catch up, in much the same way as the leader has arranged in the Italian class.
