Wednesday 25th September
DAY TRIP TO CASTLE HOWARD
An ornate, gilded 18th century stately home set in landscaped grounds with fountains, trails and lakes and used for the filming of period productions such as Brideshead Revisited and Bridgerton. 
We depart from the Leisure Centre at 0800 hours and return at approximately 1800 hours.
Cost £40 including coach and entry to the house and gardens.

XMAS DEMONSTRATION AND TWO COURSE LUNCH
Held at Floral Media, The Woovers, Norwell Road, Caunton NG23 6AQ
Time: 1200 hours for 1230 hours

Thursday 5th December 
MURDER MYSTERY PLAY AND SUPPER
Performed by the Southwell Theatre Club, this will be a "Treasure Island" murder mystery panto: Oh yes it is!
Venue: Southwell Library
Time: 7pm for 7:30pm
Tickets £9.00 (including a light supper)
To whet your appetite here is the synopsis: 
In a lonely cove by the seashore, Mrs. Ladd runs the Admiral Benblowers Inn, helped by her son Jim Ladd
Enter rough old buccaneer Billy Barnacle looking for a place to hide a treasure map.
Enter pirates looking for him.
Enter Long John Silver and his talking parrot, looking for them.
Enter Cyrene, a maiden jilted by a sailor, with a pathological hatred of sailing men.
Enter Broadside Betty the most fearsome pirate known to man (or woman) and you have a recipe for mayhem and murder.
Can you sort it? Yes you CAN!
