World U3A: This website seeks to establish a service for our international contacts and to provide educational resources as part of a worldwide movement. www.worldu3a.org

East Midlands U3A Network: The East Midlands Region comprises the counties of Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, and Nottinghamshire. It has formed a Regional Representative Council to which each county sends two elected representatives. The Council meets four times per year to discuss items of common interest, and provide a forum for the exchange of information between the member U3As and the Third Age Trust which is the National body for the movement. www.eastmidlandsu3as.org.uk

Notts Network: This network is a federation of U3As in Nottinghamshire which have joined together to support each other in the promotion of informal learning and the cultural and social development of their members. www.nottsu3anetwork.org

The Virtual U3A: If you are having difficulty getting to meetings or group activities through illness, location or any other reason you might find that the Virtual U3A can help. To find out more about what they have to offer go to www.vu3a.org

Open Learn: The Open Learn website gives free access to Open University course materials. This is the Learning Space, where you'll find hundreds of free study units, each with a discussion forum. Study independently at your own pace or join a group and use the free learning tools to work with others.

The Big Lottery Fund: Every year the Big Lottery Fund gives millions of pounds from the National Lotttery to 'good causes'. The money goes to community groups and projects that improve health, education and the environment. Southwell U3a has been awarded two tranches of money under the Awards for All scheme.
