News of our AGM, Tuesday 1 August 2023: AGM 2023 & subsequent "Social"
We have a new "Handbook for Group Leaders", from July 23, for consultation and comment
Another new THREE groups are just being set up! Details are in "Newsline". Anyone for Music (popular 1930s to 1970's)? Anyone waiting to join the oversubscribed Film Group? An overflow "Film Extra" is being set up. Anyone interested in a monthly quiz?

EVENTS:
28th September at Southwell Library: A two man musical show, which is currently on a national tour, is comic, poignant, challenging and thought provoking. Details Poster
30th September: A reminder that the Southwell District Ploughing Match & Show is on, at South Muskham. It's a great day out, but this means that many local roads will be VERY busy.
GOOD CAUSES AND INFORMATION:
1. An appeal for members willing to support local refugees - details
2. Mesothelioma :
We have been contacted by Julie from The Mesothelioma Center (Asbestos.com): Older people make up around 80% of those diagnosed with mesothelioma since it takes anywhere from 20-50 years after exposure to occur. 3. Keeping Safe - "Elder Abuse":
