To provide an opportunity to play a relaxed, informal, social game of Croquet.
To introduce those who have never played Croquet to the game.
We would like to encourage new players to come along and join us this coming season. No experience needed , as helpful guidance will be given. Thank you to all the new members who have already made contact. Our start date for 2025 is on Monday 14th April 13:45 hours to 16:00 hours Flat shoes must be worn - no heels of any sort allowed. Please bring along your own mug. Much fun and laughter is shared during our refreshment break. Why not come along and join our croquet group ...... and enjoy a fun filled afternoon each summer month?
Where and when: Fiskerton-cum-Morton, at the Arthur Radford Sports Ground, Cooks Lane, NG25 0XQ Parking is at the Sportsground, Cooks Lane, Morton We have use of three croquet lawns normally played on by the Southwell Croquet Club, a well-equipped and friendly club that are able to host small groups of external players such as ourselves. We meet on the 2nd Monday of the month, from 2pm to 4pm, Summer only. Arrival from 1.45 to start playing at 2.00
How the group works: The group provides an opportunity to learn and play Croquet. The aim is to have fun playing the game, it is not all about winning! All the equipment is provided, there is a £10 lawn fee payable on the day, only 12 of us can play at a time
