Discussion Group continues to meet during the Lockdown period with a Zoom meeting at 10.30 am on the 4th Thursday of each month.
Most members are now familiar with the mechanics of using Zoom and continue to disagree in the normal way. To overcome the understandable British cultural prejudice against, members will practice using masks on Zoom as soon as they become available. (update 2 May 2020)
The Discussion Group meets on the 4th Thursday at 10.30am on the 4th Thursday of each month in the Old Court House in Southwell.
Topics are chosen from the events of recent weeks and usually develop into an amusing exchange of views on their political, ethical and common sense implications.
A warm welcome is given to new members joining and there's room for two or three more without growing too large for everyone to have their say.
Clive Bates - Group Leader (updated 08.04.2019)
