Whilst our regular walks are normally in the Peak District, we also travel further afield: Members of the Southwell U3A Peak Walking Groups enjoy their annual trip to the Cumbrian Fells, and some pictures in the slide show below include photos from one such trip: Based in Keswick the group of fourteen walked the Borrowdale fells taking in some of Wainwright’s favourites: Catbells, Castle Crag, and the remote fell around Ulscarf. Take a look at the slideshow of photos from that trip & from other walks below
John Wolfenden Visit to the Lake’s 2018 Members of the Southwell U3A Peak Walking Groups had their annual trip to the Cumbrian Fells over four days in April. Based in Keswick the group of fourteen walked the Borrowdale fells taking in some of Wainwright’s favourites: Catbells, Castle Crag, and the remote fell around Ulscarf. Despite April showers the tops remained clear of cloud and a good time was had by all. John |
