"Music through the Decades" was a proposed new group, with over twenty members interested, with the first meeting scheduled for 22nd January 2024. Very sadly, a significant change in personal circumstances meant that the Group Leader had to withdraw shortly before the first meeting, and this group will only start if we are able to identify a replacement leader.
The Group Leader Designate, Philip, said:
Do you enjoy revisiting music from your past? If so, this is your opportunity to listen again and perhaps tell the group why the tracks you have chosen are important to you. Alternatively a group or solo artist that you followed and could form the basis for a talk interspersed with tracks that you like or made them famous. The group will be based around music from the 30s to the 70s.
