Peak Walking Group 3 visit to Keswick Lake District April 2023:
Twelve members of the Peak Walking Group 3 had a memorable visit to the Northern Lakes during the last week in April. The weather was particularly kind and the group explored a number of classic walks taking in Hay Stacks (a favourite of the renowned Alfred Wainwright), and Blencathra. Other walks included High Rigg, the Stone Circle and Latrigg and the valley walks of Borrowdale and a little known walk from Buttermere to Keswick via Sail and Rigg Beck.
