The Short Walks group walks 4 to 5 miles once a month, usually locally, with the aim of getting some exercise in a social environment where you are able to appreciate the countryside in all seasons and to explore both familiar and lesser known areas. There is also a chance to enjoy lively and interesting conversations with the friendly group members. Often opportunities arise to see wildlife whilst on the walk.
After the walk most members enjoy a pub lunch together.
The walks take place on the 3rd Wednesday of each month, meeting at 10.00am usually at a local pub.
