We arrange, sing and play folk songs that are selected by the group, and learn something of the origins of the songs, and the life and times of the people who may have written or performed them.
We welcome anyone who can sing or play (at any standard!) and enjoy folk music with like-minded people. Some sing melody, some can ad lib harmony & descant. Some read music, many do not. A bonus, not expected, is if you can arrange, compose, or play a suitably (non electric) musical instrument.
Here is a selection of our repertoire (as at January 2022): Some numbers are missing because we like variety, and drop some tunes as new ones come along.
